I have lived at Ruakaka with my husband Ian for the past nine years. I have a personal experience of disability as I have a vision impairment. I enjoy working in an organisation who’s kaupapa is ‘for disabled – by disabled’. I am currently on the Disabled Persons Assembly Northland committee and feel strongly about the role Tiaho and DPA has in changing the way society views people who have a disability
