I have resided in Kaitaia since 1993 and am married to Phillipa. We have three sons and one daughter who have all left home. I have been involved with Parent to Parent Northland for 13 years and have been president for the past five years. Last year I was elected to the Parent to Parent National Board. I am also on the committee of the Far North Disability Resource Centre. I have an interest in disability awareness in the community and have been involved in running a programme called Right Attitudes Programme (RAP) in primary and intermediate schools over the past several years
