Vote for our local Kiwi Battlers

Published 01 September 2010, Posted in Northland Vote for our local Kiwi Battlers

All around New Zealand there’s a special breed of Kiwi, going the extra mile, overcoming obstacles and achieving results – not for themselves, but for their communities.

We call them Kiwi Battlers, and we want to reward New Zealand’s best – the Kiwis working the hardest and having the most positive impact on the lives of the people around them.

We have two regional finalists, Kathryn Sadgrove from the Northland Down Syndrome Support Group and Vanessa Gray from the Brain Injury Association.  Place your vote now to decide the winning battler for our region.

Minnie’s presentation on Be Accessibe was truly inspiring. disappointing to see those most in need of ‘enlightenment’ were absent….a great build up for the RWC and way beyond so up to those who did attend to be vocal! and spread the Be word!
