Sudburys help Arthritis NZ

Published 25 September 2008, Posted in Northland Sudburys help Arthritis NZ

Let’s do something positive for our community ... and have some fun together.

On Thursday the 16th of October 2008 the team at Sudburys are going to do a fun walk to raise funds for the Arthritis NZ.

We are going to meet at Mair Park at 5.30 where you have the choice of two walks; for the more adventurous you can walk to the top of Parahaki and back, otherwise there is a lovely riverside walk to Whareora Road and back.

We would love to see as many of you there as possible (including any friends, family and workmates) to help support this worthwhile charity that affects so many people.

More than half a million New Zealanders will have arthritis in their lifetime!

We will be providing refreshments afterwards in the park by the playground to reward everyone for their efforts.

Also each person who registers will have a number allocated against their name which we will use to draw spot prizes after the walk is finished.

So why not make up a team from your business or family.  We look forward to receiving the registration form and donation back by the 1st October.

(Form can be posted back to Sudburys P O Box 154, Whangarei 0140, emailed to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or faxed to (09) 4381244

If you are unable to attend, we would greatly appreciate a donation or you could sponsor one of our team to do the walk on your behalf.

Minnie’s presentation on Be Accessibe was truly inspiring. disappointing to see those most in need of ‘enlightenment’ were absent….a great build up for the RWC and way beyond so up to those who did attend to be vocal! and spread the Be word!
