NZ Relay presentation

Published 08 April 2008, Posted in Northland NZ Relay presentation

Tired of being hung up on the phone or people assuming your drunk?  Like to use the telephone more efficiently?

NZ Relay has a solution for you !

Tiaho Trust is organising and promoting a free information event of NZ Relay’s latest services for people with speech and hearing impairments.

These services include Hearing Carry Over (HCO), Speech to Speech (STS) and Email & pre-call set up.  These services allows the speech impaired person the opportunity to speak directly to the person they are calling and then read the responses on the text telephone.

Everyone is welcome to this free event on Monday 28th April from 12.30pm - 3.00pm.  It is being held at the Cafler Suite, Forum North, Whangarei.  Light refreshments will be available.

Business representatives are welcome as this presentation will help you improve your customer service to the hearing and speech impaired.

Minnie’s presentation on Be Accessibe was truly inspiring. disappointing to see those most in need of ‘enlightenment’ were absent….a great build up for the RWC and way beyond so up to those who did attend to be vocal! and spread the Be word!
