Northland Brain Train available on DVD

Published 15 July 2010, Posted in Northland Northland Brain Train available on DVD

In March this year, Northlanders had the chance to discover the wonders of the human brain and learn about the latest neuroscience research as the Northland Brain Train made its way across the region.

The event included lectures by leading neuroscientists on the latest brain research, seminars on brain health and medical care from community support groups, and information displays with advice on support and services.

This was a collaborative initiative by The Neurological Foundation, Tiaho Trust and The Northland Disability Information Advisory Services Collective.

As a result of this popular event and after many requests a DVD has been made available of the Whangarei seminars.

To order contact Channel North on 438 7658 or http://www.channelnorth.co.nz
Cost is $20.00 inc GST

This event is happening again next year, we look forward to seeing you there!

Minnie’s presentation on Be Accessibe was truly inspiring. disappointing to see those most in need of ‘enlightenment’ were absent….a great build up for the RWC and way beyond so up to those who did attend to be vocal! and spread the Be word!
