Tiaho Trust, in conjunction with IDEA Services is inviting local standing candidates for the 2008 General Election to have an audience with the Whangarei disabled community. 

The objective of the event is for the disabled community to be more informed about different political party’s disability policies and to put disability on the local political radar.

Come and join us at the Cafler Suite, Forum North on Friday 24th October from 9am to 11am.  Light refreshments will be provided.

Confirmed candidates to date include Paul Chalmers (Labour Party), Phil Heatley (National Party) and Paul Doherty (Green Party).

Minnie’s presentation on Be Accessibe was truly inspiring. disappointing to see those most in need of ‘enlightenment’ were absent….a great build up for the RWC and way beyond so up to those who did attend to be vocal! and spread the Be word!
