    What does Empowerment Online mean?

    You may have heard the term ‘information is power. Well empowering people is to invest them with power.
    Empowerment Online is aiming to increase the capability of disabled people and their whanau to access the wealth of information available to them via the internet. In turn we believe that this will provide the opportunity for people to become knowledgeable and empowered to make decisions that will impact positively on their daily lives and promote inclusion in their local and ‘virtual’ communities.
